Peggy Quotes

Candlelight Service and Concert at Springhill, Nova Scotia 2008

You are one great lady m'dear, with a very big heart - and one helluva entertainer to boot. To just say thank you seems terribly insufficient...but thank you, from my heart to yours. I shall never forget those two days in October, and the light cast by your generosity of spirit.  Jack MacAndrew

Peggy Quotes 2

On Almost Commerically Viable, both Peggy and Irene's voices are really fresh, despite their combined ages of over a century. Peggy sounds clear and sharp in the hard-hitting song 'Guilty' and seductive in the jazzy 'Sweet Heroine'. Irene has a soft voice, high and light, which complements Peggy's voice well.

Period Pieces Notes

Period Pieces - (Tradition TCD 1078)

An album of women's songs, written by Peggy Seeger between 1963 and 1994. All of them except one have been previously recorded. Half of the 18 items are fresh recordings. The other half are being remixed from Familiar Faces, or taken from live recordings. They give an extraordinary overview of feminist issues over the past thirty years.
