With a population of only 6 million, the humans aren't ruining it ... yet. Except for the damned forestation with pine trees, which is ruining the bays with erosion and mudslides and, of course, depriving natural fauna of their habitats. As for the low population: as they say when you enter Oregon on one of the major highways: Welcome to Oregon, but please don't stay. New Zealand has to strive to KEEP its population low. Grandson Fraser visits. He's always good company. It's a trait amongst males in our family to make faces when you are being photographed. There's more, much more about New Zealand.
